Rose obtained her undergraduate nursing degree at Missouri Baptist School of Nursing. She attained certification as a Nephrology Nurse in 1998. Rose went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Adult Nurse Practitioner degrees at Maryville University in St. Louis. She acquired Board Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Certification Center.
Rose has worked in dialysis for more than twenty years including the outpatient chronic dialysis environment and inpatient acute hospital settings, both as a staff nurse and manager.
Rose’s experience in the chronic dialysis background have made her proficient in the management of anemia and renal osteodystrophy where she developed and implemented medication algorithms. Her experience also includes being an integral part of Quality Assurance Teams striving for improved outcomes and quality of life for dialysis patients.
